My first impression of you was that you were very professional, compassionate, and caring.
I first started to lose hearing in my left ear many years ago, likely due to frequent earaches as a child, which led to hearing loss in that ear. I also began experiencing off-balance issues and dizziness. I was diagnosed with Meniere’s disease, which involves fluid buildup in the ear, but the dizzy spells and balance problems were the worst.
My first impression of you was that you were very professional, compassionate, and caring. To someone concerned about their hearing and considering visiting, I would say that you are kind, patient, and accommodating, and you take the time to ensure the examination is comfortable and thorough. I wear contact lenses for my poor vision, and it took me a while to get used to them. The same was true of hearing aids, but it was well worth the effort.
I don’t remember a single epiphany, but I gradually realized that I was missing a fair amount of conversation that others seemed to have no problem hearing. Possible hearing loss just seemed like another sign of getting older. My first impressions of you were that you were quietly competent, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Hearing aids have definitely improved the quality of my life—I don’t have to keep asking people to repeat themselves in busy, noisy places.

Relax and let Cayman Hearing Center do what they do well.
I didn’t have one specific moment when I realized I had a hearing problem—it was a slow process, and I just found myself wishing people would speak more slowly and enunciate better. Before contacting you, I was concerned about finding someone who would be straightforward with me because I had previously felt uninformed and “led” to a purchase at another hearing aid provider. I was impressed with the care and attention given at Cayman Hearing Center.
Since wearing hearing aids, I feel much more confident about being around other people and being able to hear, instead of feeling embarrassed about asking people to repeat things. To someone concerned about their hearing and considering a visit, I would say to relax and let Cayman Hearing Center do what they do well. My favorite thing about working with you was the time you took to explain things and answer my questions.

It is the best investment you can make in your hearing health, don’t delay.. even if it just to check.
Last September, after returning home from a long flight, one of my ears wouldn’t unblock. I waited six months, but it was still blocked, so I decided I needed assistance. The Hearing Center was the first on my list because I had previously attended a lecture there outlining potential hearing issues. My doctor also referred me to the Hearing Center for help with my condition. Being a healthcare professional, I had no concerns before contacting, as I had worked with the Center in another capacity.
As a patient, I was made comfortable—they answered all my questions and gave reassurances that calmed me. To someone concerned about their hearing and considering a visit, I would say it’s the best investment you can make in your hearing health—don’t delay, even if it’s just to check. My favorite thing about working with the Center is the staff—they listen and are very supportive. I would highly recommend them.
