Nokuphiwa Mthabela is a dedicated Clinical Audiologist from the sunny city of Durban, South Africa. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Audiology from the University of Pretoria.
Her passion for hearing care was inspired by a deep desire to help others and by the influence of a close family member who is an ENT specialist. Drawn to the life-changing impact of hearing rehabilitation, she was inspired by how Audiologists help people reconnect with the world around them through better hearing.
Nokuphiwa is known for her warm and engaging approach—turning clinical testing into moments of ease and playfulness that help children feel relaxed and parents reassured. She finds great fulfillment in building long-term relationships with patients of all ages and witnessing the transformation that better hearing brings to their daily lives.
Outside the clinic, Nokuphiwa enjoys hiking and pottery, and she is an enthusiastic amateur baker—always striving for scones that look less like rocks.
